Policies & Procedures
Reservations can be made online or by calling 508-240-6535 or 800-896-4606. We require a MasterCard, Visa or Discover, to reserve a rental property. We’re sorry we do not accept American Express.
After making a reservation, your lease agreement will be emailed to you. The signed lease along with your deposit indicated on page one of your lease is due within 7 days or less. You can pay by personal check, money order or by the credit card entered when you made your reservation. The remaining balance is due by May 1st and will automatically be charged to your credit card on file.
Reservations made after May 1st will require full payment within 3 days or less (based on arrival date) of making your reservation, along with your signed contract. If you are reserving a home less than 7 days before the arrival date, your credit card on file will be charged immediately for the full amount. There is a fee to change your reservation after receiving your signed contract.
Included in your Booking Fee is a Damage Protection Plan. As an enrolled covered guest under this plan staying at a property booked by us, you will not be obligated to pay for unintentional damage to cover real or personal property of the owner of the rental unit located within the rental unit occupied by the covered guest. We will not charge you for damage inside the unit as a result of your inadvertent acts or omissions during the duration of your stay with a maximum limit of $1,500 aggregate per stay.
Cancellation Policy Without a Signed Contract
CapeCodRentals.com must be notified of any cancellations within 7 days of booking date.
Cancellation Policy With a Signed Contract
You must notify CapeCodRentals.com by phone and in writing of a reservation cancellation. If the unit is re-rented for entire canceled reservation period at no loss to the Owner; Tenant’s payments will be refunded, less a cancellation fee equal to 25% of the rental rate. If unit is not re-rented for entire canceled reservation period, all Tenant payments are forfeited.
Trip Cancellation Insurance
We offer Trip Cancellation Insurance through CSA Insurance. Please view the CSA Travel Insurance Brochure for an outline of coverage. If you have questions regarding their policies, please call them at 866-298-6846 and reference that you will be renting through CapeCodRentals.com. Click here for details. Optional CSA Vacation Rental Insurance pricing has been included with your reservation. Vacation Rental Insurance reimburses for pre-paid, non-refundable expenses due to certain unforeseeable circumstances that may jeopardize your vacation investment and force you to incur unplanned expenses. We strongly recommend you purchase this valuable protection. If declined, you acknowledge you have read and understand our cancellation policy and chose not to purchase Vacation Rental Insurance on behalf of all occupants.
Every effort is made to ensure all information on the CapeCodRentals.com website(s), brochures, lease and computer reservations system is accurate and complete. However, owners can and sometimes do make changes to their properties without notifying us. CapeCodRentals.com cannot be held responsible for typographical errors, omissions, price changes, and, but not limited to, changes made by owners in furnishings, equipment, bed arrangements, etc.
Total occupancy in properties may not exceed the maximum number of occupants allowed as shown on page one of lease agreement. Children of all ages and babies are counted. OVERCROWDING OR MISREPRESENTATION IS GROUNDS FOR IMMEDIATE EVICTION WITHOUT REFUND.
Check-in begins NO EARLIER than 3:00 PM. You cannot check in if the unit has not been inspected. Do not go to the accommodations prior to checking in at our office. Our inspection crew will not clean accommodations if there are people or cars present. If you anticipate arriving after 5 PM please notify our office ahead of time so we can make special arrangements for key pickup.
Check-out is no later than 10 AM on the departure date (SORRY, NO EXCEPTIONS). YOU WILL BE CHARGED ANOTHER DAYS’ RENT FOR VIOLATION. Tenants are responsible for following Tenant instructions posted in unit and for leaving unit and grounds undamaged and thoroughly cleaned. If you cannot find the tenant instructions or have questions about our departure cleaning expectations, you must call our office. Rental accommodations will be inspected after your departure and must be left in the same condition as when you arrived. After all windows and doors have been locked and your party has vacated the premises return your keys to CapeCodRentals.com office. Upon Check out you will be offered a chance to reserve your vacation property/week for the following season.
Be advised that homes that do not allow Guests to bring a pet does not mean that any home is Pet Free. If you or a Guest in your group has allergies, be advised that we do not and cannot guarantee in ANY case that a home is Allergen Free. This includes Pet, Pollen, Mold, Chemical or any other Allergens.
